LeaferJS Sponsorship Disclaimer

Thank you for your support and trust in the LeaferJS project. To protect the rights and interests of both sponsors and the project team, the following statements are made:

1. Voluntary Sponsorship

All sponsorships to LeaferJS are voluntary and based on recognition and support for the project. Sponsorship does not constitute any form of investment, equity, debt, or contractual relationship. Sponsors do not have decision-making power, control, or ownership of the project.

2. Use of Funds

All sponsorship funds will be primarily used for project development, documentation improvement, community operations, infrastructure (such as servers), and related expenses. Funds will be reasonably allocated based on actual needs to support the long-term development of the project.

3. No Partnership Relationship

Sponsorship does not establish any legal relationship such as partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture with LeaferJS. The project team retains full and independent decision-making authority over the project direction, architecture, versions, and community governance.

4. Disclaimer of Use Risks

LeaferJS is an open-source project under the MIT License. Users are responsible for evaluating its suitability. The project team shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of LeaferJS.

5. Corporate Sponsorship & Brand Exposure

For corporate sponsors, we may provide optional acknowledgment benefits within the following scope, depending on the sponsorship amount and relationship:

• Website Acknowledgment: Display company name, logo, and link
• Community Exposure: Acknowledgment in release notes, blog posts, talks, or social media
• Influence Enhancement: Priority invitations to participate in technical co-building or ecosystem promotion

The above acknowledgments are purely for appreciation purposes. The specific presentation format is determined by the LeaferJS team to maintain project neutrality and community fairness.

6. Brand Usage and Restrictions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, sponsorship does not grant the sponsor the right to use the LeaferJS name, logo, developer identity, or to speak on behalf of the project. Sponsors must not use the LeaferJS name for commercial promotion, marketing, or product endorsement.

For co-branding or customized promotion needs, please sign a separate formal agreement with us.

7. Legal and Compliance

All sponsorship activities must comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the sponsor’s jurisdiction. LeaferJS reserves the right to refuse any sponsorship suspected of illegal use or conflicting with the project’s values.

8. Invoices and Agreements

LeaferJS is currently an open-source project maintained by individuals and the community, and invoices are not provided by default. If corporate sponsors require invoices or wish to sign a formal agreement, please feel free to contact us.

9. Policy Updates

LeaferJS reserves the right to update this disclaimer without prior notice. Sponsors are advised to review this page periodically to stay informed of the latest policies.
